Season 4 of HOPE Garden Begins

On Wednesday February 15th, HOPE Club used their regular third Wednesday meeting of the month to focus on the start of season four of our HOPE Garden. Many members attended this great meeting and got the opportunity to pick out their own seeds with their friends. Everyone also got to see the basement and garden. If you missed this meeting, the PowerPoint which was presented about the garden will be posted under Member Information later today. You can also contact any of us if there is a certain type of seeds that you want to grow. Monday February 27th after school will be the first official garden meeting where we will begin to plant the seeds that must be planted 6-8 weeks before frost ends. These plants will be stored in Mrs. Getty's room for now. Thursday March 2nd after school will also be a garden meeting. Garden meetings will be after school every Monday and the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month. Remember that for each meeting you come to, and sign in and out, you will receive community service hours for. You can request the official form with your name and total garden hours under the Points and Hours System section of the member. You also receive 2 points per garden meeting you attend fully.
