Carrot

Aria was getting concerned about the carrots since its kind of hard to see how they're growing. Thus we did some research and most of the information on how to harvest carrots amount to keep track of time. Guess who did not keep track of time. Therefore we decided to dig down a bit and see how the carrots look so far.

The carrots looked like they were ready for harvest! So we kept digging and ended up with...

Since they were planted in the stair thingy, the carrots did not have much space to grow down. Instead they curled back up and around each other. In the end we had about 9 small carrots that were weirdly twisted. Next year, depending on how successfully the carrots germinate, we should plant them in a bed and not the stair thingy. And also get a calendar to keep track of the plants' development.

Along with the carrots, we also harvested some tomatoes, lettuce, pepper, and zucchini. Voila!
