WATERMELON
There isn't much to say except ... THE WATERMELON PLANT HAS A TINY BABY WATERMELON!!!
As a note (since we probably didn't mention it earlier and we personally didn't know this), we have also seen plenty of bees in the area which are obviously important for pollination. Without bees (or other pollinators), the plants won't bear fruit. Apparently in previous years, Alexa had said the gardeners had to self-pollinate the plants.
Anyway, good evening to all who are about to head into a new school year. *cue tears
