IT'S JUNE
Hello! So it might be slightly over just a week haha... But just because we haven't posting doesn't mean that not a lot has happened in the garden! Last Tuesday, the 29th, we (Annie, Jessie, Stacey, and Jessica who showed up for a bit) planted the cilantro and onions in the bed that the okra was in last year. We reasoned keeping different plants in the same bed as we would put them in the kitchen box but its currently being squashed by the greenhouse. Also cilantro is an herb so its pretty small and onions aren't too big either. If you've forgotten how you're suppose to prepare the soil for planting, refer back to the post "Dirty Work", I'll put it in the related posts thingamabob.
The other plants are looking as expected, of the squash we have only 2 left which may be due to the weather since they were the first plants planted and its been a weird mix of storms and ridiculously hot days since.
These pictures are in chronological order. I'm internally debating whether or not we should just add the cantaloupe (when they sprout) in with them to see how they do.
I'm just going to spam the rest of the pictures since its ALL tomato, unless they're still in Ms. Ghetti's room or in the window box.
This ended up looking like some strange attempt at abstract art.
The lavender also started budding!! There's plans in the works to maybe make lavender sachets so fingers crossed that it happens! The eventual goal is to have all the plants actually planted before school ends. Until next time!
