Teal Pumpkin Bash
Although it’s been a while, the HOPE Club would like to recognize all of those who attended the Teal Pumpkin Bash and made it a success!
On Tuesday, October 16 Hope Club members assembled in the cafeteria to paint lots and lots of pumpkins to raise awareness for the Teal Pumpkin Project. The teal pumpkins represented a worldwide movement to aid children on Halloween with allergies to ensure a safe and happy Halloween. Homes with the teal pumpkin on their windowsills or on their doorstep served non-candy treats for trick-or-treaters who have food allergies or for those who are unable to eat candy, to ensure that Halloween is a fun experience for all!
The Teal Pumpkin Bash was a lot of fun as well—with games such as Pumpkin Cup Stacking and a Candy Corn Relay. The winners, Anvitha Nekkanti and Ananya Vasireddy, earned one point each for winning both challenges!
We appreciate everyone who came out to support the cause and look forward to seeing everyone next year!
