Summer Fun

Hello all HOPE members, I hope the beginning of your summer has been relaxing and fun! As we're getting into the swing of summer, we've had a lot of meetings for the garden and weekend foods. Thanks to a lot of local supermarkets, we have been able to gather lots of food to add to our growing pantry! These foods are all fresh, frozen and of superb quality and are being delivered to MH families throughout this entire summer. A huge shoutout to Mrs. Paulson and all of the members who have been attending supermarket rescues and organizing everything! I'd also like to give another huge shoutout to Local Share who has been constantly supporting our food orientated efforts. They have given us multiple opportunities to glean and have shared various fresh things with us that would have otherwise been disposed of such as produce, eggs, butter, bread and poultry! Be on the lookout for future gleaning opportunities-our next one is Tuesday, July 16th from 8:30-10:30 at School Lunch Farms in Hackettstown :) Below are some of the food we've been collecting:
