General Garden Update

So we'll just go over the progress of the garden so far based on the last meeting of July 5th. (This is going to be a post full of pictures)
It seems our best growing plant is the tomatoes (of which we have two varieties

However, since we used our current cages for the peas, Ms. Paulson ordered new cages and stakes to help with support (bless her soul). After some issues with ordering and vendors and whatnot, they finally arrived on Wednesday. Then, of course, someone random signed off on them and for a while, we had no idea where they were (-_-).
BUT anyway we managed to fix up all the tomatoes and peas.....

As a note for the future, remember to put cages or stakes on the tomatoes when they are still tiny 'cause it was near impossible for us to tame this jungle-like mess that decided to grow everywhere.

And we also harvested some peas

As for the rest of the plants.....
Jumbo Pink Banana Squash went from this.....

...and basically exploded

Peppers (if you look closely at the plant on the bottom left, it has a massive pepper growing XD )

As another reminder for the future, according to Murteza, peppers are supposed to be planted in pairs. As you can see from the picture above, some peppers were not planted in pairs...... The ones on the bottom were however so we should be able to compare their growth and see whether pairs have an influence.

The carrot now has a companion (a lone tomato plant since for some reason the other carrot disappeared?):

Cantaloupe (not much change here)

Lettuce

Which we also harvested so it looks kind of....bare

Okra growth has been rather stagnant except for one but we are still debating whether it is okra or a weed.

The watermelon are looking really good.......

Well at least one of them (There was supposed to be a plant in every depression....)

Zucchini (looks like squash related plants are doing really well - ignores the cucumbers that all perished in the beginning)

So yay! Mostly everything looks pretty good
