Productivity in the Garden!!!
It has been a loooooong time and A LOT of progress has been made in the garden! We've weeded ALL of the beds and even pruned one of lavender bushes. A bunch of us got together on multiple days in order to get it all done. Winter had left the beds looking rather...green and at the end we had filled at LEAST three to four garbage bags with the weeds we had dug out. On the bright side, we found plenty of worms which signifies positive things for the soil's nutrient content.
However, we are still waiting for a good day, in terms of weather, where we can actually replace the falling-apart beds. With APs, majority of our normal gardeners have found their lives overtaken by test taking. Nonetheless, once we have all vanquished these tests, everyone will hopefully have more free time to devote to gardening.
The tomatoes are still being kept in one of the window boxes and some of them are even touching the lid when its closed! They are growing very nicely and are still alive, which is always a plus. None of the other plants have yet been deemed ready to be moved outside which is partly due to the limited amount of non-exposed space that they can be kept.
The pepper and kale have been growing particularly well although the broccoli and brussel sprouts are no slouches either.
Until Next Time!
