Double Trouble ;D
That's right! It's a double update for both last week and this week!
So much has happened over the past two weeks! The kale is pretty much ready for harvest although the brussel sprouts and broccoli are still growing. Just because they are still growing does not mean that they are small though! On the contrary, they have blossomed to cover up pretty much their entire area.
And what is that we see here?
That is correct!! We have green tomatoes! Not to mention that we also found a rogue tomato plant growing in another bed -.- We'll let it get away this time. Next time, though, we will not be as nice or perhaps we may simply relocate it. We are a rather ambivalent bunch, thus the outcome will most likely rely on our mood and benevolence.
A most happy day indeed! We have spotted both flowers on our bean plants AND a bean! This picture is at a bad angle, nonetheless, rest assured that the bean plants are indeed paying for their upkeep!
In terms of the other plants, there is a solitary potato plant that has begun to poke its head out, the peppers are doing wonderful, and Ahmed has planted swiss chard and cucumbers. Olivia trimmed a rose bush and with our new, wonderful, amazing gloves, we succeeded in stuffing all the trimmings into the garbage bag with only minor stab wounds from the thorns.
Keep an eye out for an announcement for next week's gardening date and stay hydrated in this heat!!!
Until Next Time!
